Benefit/Charity Rides

05.01.10 - 09.25.10 Saturday - Saturday Bike MS Tours - 2010 Series   Local series of bike tours that support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, featuring Tour the Vineyard in May, Cape Cod Getaway (Quincy to Provincetown) in June, New Hampshire Seacoast Escape in August, and Bike & Hike the Berkshires in September.  Landry's Bicycles is honored to support the MS Bike Tours.
 
05.15.10 - 09.26.10 Saturday - Sunday PMC Kids Rides - 2010 Series   Various event dates and locations in New England.  Open to children of various ages.  Funds raised benefit cancer research and treatment.  See the PMC Kids website for a complete listing of rides.
 
07.31.10 - 08.01.10 Saturday - Sunday Bike MS - Bike to the Breakwater   Standish, Maine.  2 days, with choice of 50 and 75-mile route options each day.  Benefits the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
 
08.01.10 Sunday Tour of the Litchfield Hills   Torrington, CT.  Choice of bike routes of 12, 30, 50, 75, or 100 miles.  Benefits the Center for Cancer Care Fund.
 
08.05.10 - 08.08.10 Thursday - Sunday Mass BikePike Tour   Four-day, supported bicycle tour across Massachusetts, with daily route options of 30–65 miles.  Proceeds benefit MassBike.
 
08.07.10 - 08.08.10 Saturday - Sunday Pan-Mass Challenge   2 days, 192 miles from Sturbridge to Provincetown, Mass., plus additional route options available.  Funds raised benefit cancer research and treatment.  PMC event-site volunteers needed: New volunteers can register at www.pmc.org through July 16.   Landry's is honored to support the PMC.

08.07.10 - 08.08.10 Saturday - Sunday Bike MS - Green Mountain Getaway   Castleton, VT.  Choice of daily bike routes of 20–100 miles.  Funds raised benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
 
08.08.10 Sunday PMC Sunday 1-Day   Babson College, Wellesley.  47-mile, one-day route for the Pan-Mass Challenge.  Funds raised benefit cancer research and treatment.
 
08.14.10 Saturday MassBike Summer Century and Family Ride   Lexington, Mass.  Go for the whole century (100 miles), or ride a metric century (62 miles), 40 miles, or the 15-mile family ride.  Proceeds will benefit MassBike.
 
08.14.10 Saturday Harpoon Point to Point   Choice of rides (110, 50, and 25 miles) across the state of Vermont to benefit the Vermont Foodbank.  Sponsored by Harpoon Brewery.
 
08.21.10 Saturday Hoosic River Ride   Bennington, VT.  Choice of bike routes.  Proceeds benefit the Hoosic River Watershed Association.
 
08.21.10 Saturday Bike MS - New Hampshire Seacoast Escape   Choice of 40K or 100K scenic bike routes, starting in Stratham, NH (near Portsmouth).  Landry's Bicycles is honored to sponsor the MS Bike Tours.
 
08.22.10 Sunday Stow Bike for the Woods   Stow, Mass.  Choice of various on-road bike routes for cyclists of all ages and abilities.  Organized by Stow Conservation Trust.
 
08.28.10 - 08.29.10 Saturday - Sunday DetermiNation - Cranberry Trifest   Lakeville, Mass.  Register to compete in the Cranberry Trifest and raise money to fight cancer.
 
09.12.10 Sunday A Reason to Ride   Danvers, Mass.  Choice of 10, 25, or 50-mile bike routes to benefit cancer research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
 
09.18.10 Saturday Bart Center NO LIMITS Benefit Ride   Manchester, VT.  Choice of 100, 60, 30, or 9-mile rides.  Benefits the Bart J. Ruggiere Adaptive Sports Center.
 
09.25.10 Saturday Harbor to the Bay - AIDS Benefit Ride   Boston to Provincetown, one day event.  Choice of 68 or 125-mile options.  Funds raised benefit local AIDS-related charities.
 
09.25.10 Saturday Rodman Ride for Kids   Choice of 25, 50, and 100-mile routes, starting in Foxboro.  Funds raised benefit a broad range of programs that serve children across New England.  Landry's Bicycles is honored to support the Rodman Ride for Kids.
 
09.25.10 Saturday Bike MS - Berkshires   Choice of challenging 100-mile, scenic 50-mile, or relaxed 25-mile rides, starting in Pittsfield, Mass.  Funds raised benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  Landry's Bicycles is honored to sponsor the MS Bike Tours.
 
09.26.10 Sunday Hub On Wheels   Choice of 10, 30, or 50-mile bike routes around Boston, Mass.  Funds raised benefit the Technology Goes Home program.  Event-support volunteers needed: Volunteers can register at www.hubonwheels.org.  Landry's Bicycles is honored to sponsor Hub On Wheels.
 
10.01.10 - 10.03.10 Friday - Sunday Autumn Escape Bike Trek   2 or 3 days, 105 or 160 miles from Plymouth to Provincetown, Mass.  Funds raised benefit the American Lung Assoc.
 
10.02.10 Saturday CF Cycle for Life - Massachusetts   Holliston, Mass.  (Formerly called "Cycle for Haylee.")  Choice of 12, 30, or 65-mile routes.  Funds raised benefit the local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation chapter.  Landry's Bicycles is honored to sponsor CF Cycle for Life.

10.02.10 Saturday Cycle Martha's Vineyard   Choose from 50K or 100K bike routes on Martha's Vineyard.  Benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Martha's Vineyard.
 
10.02.10 Saturday Miles for Megan   Tiverton, RI.  Choice of 12.5, 25, or 62-mile bike routes to benefit the Megan Cordeiro Memorial Foundation, which supports the fight against childhood cancer.
 
10.02.10 Saturday McCourt Foundation Ride - Tour de South Shore   Wompatuck State Park, Hingham, Mass.  Scenic 25-mile bike ride along the South Shore to benefit research for Alzheimer’s disease and MS.
 
12.05.10 Sunday Jingle Ride   Annual holiday bike procession from Arlington to downtown Boston and back, hosted by our friends at Ciclismo Classico.  Registration starts at 10:30am in Arlington Center.  Prizes awarded for best decorated bike and best costumed cyclist!  Donations will benefit MassBike's local bicycling advocacy programs.
